It has become apparent that some reform is needed, but this idea of a complete over haul is ridiculous. Let us take one small step at a time long enough to determine its effectiveness. Those of us with our insurance plans tied to Medicare D are experiencing about as much frustration and change as we can handle!

What Pelosi said was: "Drowning out opposing views is simply un-American." I don't know how un-American it is, but it is disruptive and preventative to the process of actually reaching an agreement on health care. If there was more of a dialogue, from both sides, then maybe progress could be made. But since we seem to be locked in a they said/they said scenario where reason and discourse have taken a back seat to knee-jerk reactionism and who can shout the loudest, no progress can be made without perpetuating this cycle of claiming your opponent is Un-American and shouting at them until nothing gets done. And when the Democrats use this term un-American, we have to cut them some slack (especially Republicans and conservatives) because that was one of the biggest catchphrases of the previous administration, after 9/11 when we really took this your with us or against us way of operating to heart.
