Thanks for the opportunity to share my position on health care reform.

First, let me point out that if health insurance compamies had been doing their jobs there would be no need for health care reform

Second, I have yet to see, in any of the proposed health care bills that are currently in the works, that there are no provisions in any of them that propose replacing private insurance companies with one that is run by the government. Please tell the truth.

Third I would definitely support a public run health insurance option to encourage competition among the health insurance industry and provide an option for those of us with pre existing conditions, self employed, unemployed or low income, who you all have denied.

Fourth: I'm tired of hearing about individuals who are insured who have been denied coverage for illnesses because it would eat into your profits. You all claim that it is because treatments are experimental, or the condition existed before you covered them, but the truth is your in it for the profit NOT the insured.

Lastly, tell the truth. Ask yourself - If we have to rely on fear tactics and untruths to get people to support us, is what we are doing really worthwhile? For once, put the Americans first rather than your profits.
