I was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis THIS YEAR. My injections cost over $2000 MONTHLY. Now that I have a PRE-EXISTING CONDITION, - will you, the PROTESTERS, PAY for the medicine I will NEED for the REST OF MY LIFE if I want to further my career at a different company?!!
Private insurance penalizes those with chronic health conditions!!! I pay taxes which helps feed all these illegitimate kids. Why should I not be able to get health insurance?!? If YOU will not help me pay for my lifelong medical condition, then you should keep your insurance as Obama has said SEVERAL TIMES, and I should be able to get help through the reform Obama is pushing.
YOU PROTESTERS are basically saying that anyone with a chronic condition has to stay at the job they currently are with. I shouldn't be punished into staying at my current job just because IF I LEAVE IT I WONT BE ABLE TO GET HEALTH INSURANCE BECAUSE NOW I HAVE A PRE-EXISTING CONDTION.
YOU PROTESTERS ARE SELFISH!!!

Sara,
The issue is not that Obama didn't know an obsecure section number. The issue is that he was unfamiliar with the content of a section that contridicts a central claim that he has made about the plan. The issue is that he does not know the most important substantative laws in the bill he is pushing so hard to support, and in either not knowing or choosing to ignore the substance of the bill, he is lying to the public about the future availability of private insurance.

What rubbish - making a case out of the fact that Obama didn't know one section number of the House version of the bill. Not being familiar with a section number is not "flatly admitting" that he doesn't know what the bill is about - pretending that it is simply discredits the entire piece. This is my first visit to this blog, and I can tell you it will be my last - I'm looking for a source of information with integrity, and I'm not finding it here.

right. unfortunatly, or rather fortunatly, this article is so transparent as a bit of quote mining idiocy. what the President said was that he was not familiar with a way in which that particular legislation would have the effect that the callere was afraid of. if this was true then it would be devastating to opposition's accusations that the President is attempting to decieve the public: how can the President be part of such a major conspiracy if he openly 'admits' to such flaws. perhaps someone should chechk the logic on these articles, in which they are severely lacking.

Congressman Heller of Nevada proposed an amendment that would help prevent illegals from signing up for the government plan, but the ways & means committee, Chaired by Good Ole Charlie Wrangle, shot it down. Please note, they also shot down an amendment that would require members of house & senate to enroll in the government plan. So I ask, if it is not good enough for them, what makes them think it is good enough for the American public?

http://republicans.waysandmeans.house.gov/tally...

I received an email that said there is a provision in the Obama bill to provide free health care for all illegal aliens in the US. Is this true? If so that should defeat any Congressman who voted for that proviso.
